Following the message by The Prime Minister Of Malaysia, on COVID-19 which carries the decision to close down all premises except those which are related to the defined Essential Services.

Hereby, it is informed that the due date for the submission of return declarations which are due on the 31/03/2020 is now extended to 30/04/2020.

All penalties related to return declarations submitted before or on the 30/04/2020 will be given full remission. Online payment method is encouraged.

Following The Special Announcement By The Prime Minister on the 10/04/2020 which has stated that the Movement Control Order has been extended until 28/04/2020

In line with the order, RMCD has decided that all penalties on any payment received before 213/05/2020 will be fully remitted.

For the tax period ending 29 feb 2020, the final date of tax payment is 31 March 2020 and any payments received before 15 May 2020, its penalty will be fully remitted.

For the tax period ending 31 March 2020, the final date of tax payment is 30 April 2020 and any payments received before 15 May 2020, its penalty will be fully remitted.

Online payment is encouraged

Following the implementation of the MCO, RMCD decided that all penalties for payment will be fully remitted if payment is done by 30-06-2020 the latest.

Other than that, for late submission for returns for the taxable period, no legal action will be undertaken by RMCD.

For the taxable duration ending 29 Feb 2020, the last date for tax payment is 31 March 2020 and if the payment is received on or before 30 June 2020, the penalties will be fully remitted.

For the taxable duration ending 31 March 2020, the last date for tax payment is 30 April 2020 and if the payment is received on or before 30 June 2020, the penalties will be fully remitted.

For the taxable duration ending 30 April 2020, the last date for tax payment is 31 May 2020 and if the payment is received on or before 30 June 2020, the penalties will be fully remitted.

For any period where there are no collection for departure levy or there are no flights to any external destination from Malaysia, the return statement DL-02 still have to be submitted in line with section 19, Departure Levy Act 2019.

The operator or agent is required to submit NIL RETURN via the MyDLv system.
